In recent weeks, we had the opportunity to deliver a new version of the teaching station to the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology. The station is double-sided and is used for conducting laboratory exercises in both hydraulics and pneumatics. The set of components allows for the creation of a wide variety of connection diagrams and laboratory tasks. The hydraulic pump unit is equipped with an inverter for proportional speed control of the tandem of two hydraulic pumps, whose flow is controlled by separate solenoid valves. The pneumatic unit is equipped with a noise-reduced compressor and, together with the hydraulic power unit, is housed in a specially sound-proof enclosure, ensuring a comfortable work environment. Furthermore, the station is equipped with an electronic hydraulic parameter measurement kit, including an electronic turbine flowmeter and a pressure and temperature transducer. The station is also equipped with an AIO computer with software for visualizing measured values, as well as engineering software for creating diagrams and simulating highly advanced hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
